(excerpt from the book) There are certain issues an adult might exhibit if he/she has was abused as a child and yet to open the door for healing

  1. Uses drugs and alcohol to suppress the hurts and memory. It’s only temporal and the effect of drugs, alcohol mix with psychological trauma is more damaging.
  2. Low self-esteem; the belief that everyone else is better or the acceptance that they do not deserve anything good.
  3. There is tendency to be in an abusive relationship. An abused person is often in search of love because they believe that if they feel loved it would take care of the past experience. Most of the time they end of in the wrong relationship not even knowing what to look out for in an ideal partner.
  4. Hatred for the opposite sex
  5. Lack of trust for anyone especially for the opposite sex
  6. Self-hatred; a victim never sees anything good in themselves nor think they deserve anything good. They just exist with no intention to becoming anything good in life.
  7. Suicidal signal. Some prefer to die than live with the thought that the person who hurt them is still alive and perhaps happier than them.

WILL MY ADDICTION TO MASTURBATION AFFECT MY SEX LIFE?

Who wants a doughnut when you can have a delicious-juicy hamburger with crunchy veggies? It’s a lame comparison. They can’t substitute for each other.

Masturbation is JUST doughnut. Sex IN MARRIAGE is that delicious-juicy hamburger. And yes being addicted masturbation can AFFECT your sex life. Negatively.

BTW- Sex outside marriage is WRONG. Paul said, 1 Cor 6: 16- “There’s more to sex than mere skin on skin. Sex is as much spiritual mystery as physical fact. As written in Scripture, “The two become one.” Since we want to become spiritually one with the Master, we must not pursue the kind of sex that avoids commitment and intimacy, leaving us more lonely than ever—the kind of sex that can never “become one.” There is a sense in which sexual sins are different from all others. In sexual sin we violate the sacredness of our own bodies, these bodies that were made for God-given and God-modeled love… Continue reading

Is it really a spiritual affair as some claim?.

How come some religious bodies do not treat the issue of fornication/adultery and abstinence/faithfulness like other motivational subjects?

Do you know that some people are ashame to the even say the word sex, others feel it’s a dirty topic to discuss with young people in religious gathering?

It is purely a lack of knowlegde to assume that the issue of sex is not important to God.

This book will show you some misconceptions about love and sex and what God says about them.
